In November 2009, I returned stateside from a 12-month tour in Afghanistan. During my deployment, I surpassed my original ETS date and was placed on stop-loss until our unit redeployed. Upon our return to Fort Campbell, Kentucky, I underwent a 7-day reintegration process, which involved handling paperwork, assignments, belongings distribution, and reorganizing the company for daily operations. After completing this process, I signed out on terminal leave and began out-processing from the Army.

In the span of one week, I transitioned from a combat environment in Afghanistan to civilian life, which included finding housing and employment. This abrupt shift was challenging.

By 2024, through the evolution of Called Out as a ministry, God directed me to fellow veterans navigating challenging periods in their lives. This journey has inspired the creation of an additional branch within the ministry, aimed at offering support and guidance to veterans. This support process, which necessitates immense patience, extensive discussion, and consistent guidance, is something I deeply wished I had access to when I transitioned out of service. 

I have started to upload videos to my YouTube channel as a basic guide to know who Jesus is and the basics of Christianity. These videos are also available on our Video Archives page. The cost of ministry extends beyond time and effort; it also involves significant financial resources. I have been funding all of our ministry work personally, trusting that the Lord will provide for my family's needs.
